COVID-19 Update - Sharon Township

The Sharon Township Board of Trustees met in their regular meeting on Tuesday, April, 14, 2020.  At this time, the Board has voted to continue with the closure of all township properties until further notice.  This includes the town hall, gazebo and park.  In addition to the above, the township will not be allowing the use of the tables and chairs that are normally available to our residents for use during this time.  We understand this may be an inconvenience for those who already have them reserved for this summer, but the safety and health of our residents is our top priority. We will keep this page updated with additional follow up information as needed or if this changes.   If you have questions or need to discuss any of the above in further detail, please call (330) 239-4406 and leave a message.  Your call will be returned.

Sadly, the Board also voted to cancel the Memorial Day Parade this year with much regret.  The board did not feel it would be 100% safe for the community for such a large gathering by this time.

The Sharon Showcase, scheduled for June 13, 2020, has also been cancelled by Access the Arts.

Thank you for you patience and understanding as we work though this difficult time in our community and in our country.  Your safety is our first priority.
