Oenslager Nature Center

Oenslager Nature Center, which was formerly named Wolf Creek Environmental Center, is named after the donors of the land, Ruth and George Oenslager. Hiking through the land, visitors will observe various types of landscapes, such as mature forest, wetlands, meadows and prairies. Oenslager is also home to a forest of tall pine trees, as well as a wetland area that includes a boardwalk over the water.

The nature center building fulfills the needs of all of its visitors, including school groups and community groups. Nature displays, educational programs and a bird-watching area are among the indoor offerings at the facility.

Pets, fishing, biking and picnicking are prohibited from the Oenslager Nature Center grounds. The property is located at 6100 Ridge Road and more information can be obtained by contacting the Medina County Park District at (330) 722-9364.
