Trustees & Board

The Board of Trustees consists of three elected trustees and one fiscal officer responsible for governing the affairs and functions of the township. The duties of the trustees are determined by state law and range from general to specific obligations; this includes but is not limited to serving administrative duties, adopting a budget, setting health and safety ordinances, and overseeing cemeteries, parks, township roads, zoning, police, and fire departments.

The obligations of the fiscal officer include maintaining all of the fiscal responsibilities of the township, such as keeping accurate records of financial accounts and transactions, creating statements of receipts and expenditures, issuing checks, preparing payroll, and receiving revenue as it is distributed to the township. Additionally, the fiscal officer maintains an accurate record of the proceedings at all trustee meetings.
